The Power of Crystals

Hello there! I'm back!

I have been busy during these past several months due to a comeback in my IT career and having a new job to support myself financially. Also, I have been searching for another one to transfer to since I've found out that I'm not really fit in my former one. Haha.

What have I been into in my hiatus as a blogger as far as esoteric stuffs are concerned? Crystals!

I have first heard of and encountered these magical things or should I say, entities, when I have watched the Spirit Science series in You Tube that I have mentioned here:

They did have a beautiful episode dedicated solely about crystals. Here it is:

After watching this and after a few months, I have decided to give it a try and see if this really works. During the early part of this year, I have been failing in my sales career and have completely resigned from it. My dreams of having a business and having my lifestyle supported by passive income suddenly went poof! in my head. I had to accept that for now, I had to "start" over as far as the financial aspect in concerned.

And so, I was relatively out of job, broke and thinking what to do with my life. I sought support from my parents and relatives, my guides, my higher self, my angels, some uplifting videos and mentors from You Tube and God. Thankfully I have been supported and I'm still alive! And rebuilding my life as well!

With that recovery, I believe the crystals was part of my support as well.

As said in the above video, I first searched in the Internet for a crystal shop here in Metro Manila, Philippines. Thankfully, I have found one that is genuine: http://minexcrystal.com/index.php/page/loadPage/1

It is accessible to go to, it is just near Robinsons Place in Ermita, Manila. A near walk from Pedro Gil station in LRT-1.

The owner is also generous in her knowledge. She (Ms. Sylvia Mariano) conducts free seminars and life-path analysis to her existing clients and buyers. She also has a regular radio segment in DZMM and other TV and radio shows where she comes in as a guest and talk about crystals.

Here is one segment she has guested in:

And so, I decided to buy two crystal stones to test it out. But first I have to also decide what do I want to change in my life right now? I said to myself, I want prosperity and love. Then I looked into the Spirit Science video above and some research from the Internet and found out that the stone that attracts prosperity is the Citrine crystal and the one that attracts love is the Rose Quartz crystal.

From what I've learned they said that it'll take around 2 months for the crystal magic to take effect into your life. The effects would vary. There is nothing set in stone. The resulting effect could be what your definition of prosperity or love is. It could be if you have taken action on an opportunity presented to you. From what I have noticed, the crystals help you in attracting opportunities sometimes; and it would depend on you if you will take that opportunity.

Because as said, Ask and you shall receive. You still have a part of action in this, you have to "Receive" and that requires an action of receiving from you.

Well I have bought my first 2 stones, and magically enough it has improved my life. First off, I have been accepted in a work position in as fast as 2-3 weeks from my application. I have applied in June 2nd to 3rd week and was accepted to start in July 1st. And right now I was offered a higher paying job, and if I accept it, I could start on the 2nd week of September.

Well of course, effects could vary as I have said above. And the love and support from my family was overwhelming. Romantic love is also there, as I have been meeting new beautiful friends wherein one could be my lifelong companion.

And so, I got hooked.

From the same shop, Minex Crystals, as of now, I have bought a total of 8 crystal stones, namely: Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz, Adventurine, Hematite, Amethyst, Citrine, Carnelian and Garnet.

The reason of these multiple stones I will discuss on my next post.

See you around!

The Power of Meditation. Taken from a Blog of Mary Kinlen.

This is from a blog that I have read just now. Something that I'll be doing everyday for the rest of my life.

Find out near the end what Jesus meant when He said the words: “The kingdom of heaven is within; seek ye first the kingdom, and all shall be added unto ye.”

I know that is a bit far of for me to conclude, but it feels just right and it feels that it is the truth we have all been seeking for.

HOW TO MEDITATE

If you’re like most people, you’ll find the easiest way into meditation is by listening to your heartbeat or better yet, focusing on your breathing in and breathing out as that takes little if any thought.  Keep doing this until you notice you’re thinking again; when you do, don’t get frustrated with yourself because this is going to happen a lot especially in the beginning.  Just focus on your breathing again.  As time goes by, you’ll find you can still your mind for longer and longer periods of time.  That’s it.  It’s really quite simple.  Here’s why it’s so important to meditate daily:

It’s the seconds or minutes between thoughts that add up and that have an overall accumulative affect, changing you from the inside out.  You don’t have to understand how it works—for it to work.

WHEN AND WHERE TO MEDITATE

The best time to meditate is when you haven’t been thinking for a while such as at night when you’ve been sleeping, for you don’t think when you sleep.  It’s also easier to go deep in meditation when the Earth is the quietest which is around three in the morning.  The next best time to meditate is after you get up in the morning and use the bathroom.  Sit somewhere comfortable where you know you won’t be disturbed for at least 15 minutes. Use a timer to show your thinking apparatus that you only intend on stilling the mind for that long which it will put up with.

Before you begin your meditation, relax your body as it’s easier to still your mind when you do.  I used to start with my feet and work up from there; now, I am able to mentally relax my whole body all at once.  Your mind is used to thinking and is intricately connected to your body so it is going to cause your body to want to move around a little bit in order to get you to stop meditating; hence, the benefit of mentally relaxing your body before you begin.

After many years of meditating, today, I can meditate in an airport, if need be; however, in the beginning I had to have it quiet or play dreamy new age music, and sit in a dark closet or room.    Lately, I’ve been listening to a CD of the ocean that has the ability to trigger delta brain waves.  It’s going to be an evolving thing so please don’t get hung up on sound, ok?  I used to do nothing more than listen to the sounds of my home, the birdies or whatever’s going on outside my window I never noticed before I began doing this.  You’re basically crossing over a bridge (to use a metaphor) to get to the non-thinking “radio receiver” other half of “YOU,” which may take a little while to get really good at accomplishing quickly.

You’ll have good as well as not so good days and eventually you’ll have outstanding days where an hour goes by and you’ve gone very deep.  When that happens, congratulations!   You’re discovering who YOU really are behind the façade of the thinker you had mistakenly thought was you.

YOUR GREAT BIG ETERNALLY WONDERFUL TRUE SELF

There is a SELF behind the thinker, that some call the SOUL and who you’ll never know unless you learn to meditate daily.  It is the eternal unit of evolution whereas the personality (thinker) that grows with the physical body is the finite unit of incarnation.

This is the One said to be made in the image of the Creator you’re going to want to get to know as it has a mission for you in this life you’re going to deeply and profoundly regret if you fail to achieve it while on Earth.  This is but one of over a hundred reasons why daily meditation is the most important thing you’ll ever do, and of all of them, it is number one.  YOUR LIFE IS FAR MORE PRECIOUS THAN YOU KNOW.

If you think meditating is too hard to do, just remember you thought the same thing about learning to ride your first bike, dance, memorize a song, play an instrument, learn to cook, yada, yada, yada because anything worth having always asks something from you in return.  Love is like that—give and take.  Didn’t Jesus say that love is the greatest of virtues?

MY STORY IS AN OPEN BOOK

If you’re still not convinced this is the path for you, I’m pretty sure the following two anecdotes will change your mind.  I’m going to be honest with you.  When it comes to human nature, the desires of the flesh and emotions can exhibit a strong pull away from daily meditation when you’re in a tough spot as I had suddenly found myself in, back in the mid-nineties, while living in Virginia Beach, renting a room in this older man’s home, especially since I hadn’t been doing daily meditation that long.

One day, he shared the fact that the reason his son hated him so much or that his wife had divorced him or that this former military officer had received a dishonorable discharge from the Navy was because he had incested his daughter from the ages of 6-12.  Like I really needed to hear that considering there were some childhood experiences of my own that, when I found this out about him, affected my emotions so badly, I quit meditating every day.

After awhile of not practicing, my life was moving in a downward spiral on every level including financially because fear, anger, and my loathing this guy for what he had done to his child had attracted just the opposite of prosperity. Before I knew it, I was flat broke, ranting and raving about it on the phone with a west coast friend whose recently deceased husband had been a dear friend of mine, turning me on to meditation.

She listened to my story and then asked if I was meditating.  I said “No.”  She replied, “For how long?”  I said “Several weeks.  I tried and tried, finally giving up.”  Lori told me I needed to start meditating again and that if I would, things would get better in my life.  I told her “Easy for you to say, you’re not living with this monster!  You just don’t understand.”  I try but something’s not right in this place, I can feel it, like it’s almost palpable, you know?”  That’s when she told me her own story of how she came to practice daily meditation, that I’ve been sharing with people ever since:

LORI’S STORY IS EVEN BETTER

“I grew up in New York City with my sister and Jewish parents who didn’t practice their religion.  They were socialites and my sister and I were basically treated as if we were invisible.  I grew up and became a real estate broker; later on, I decided I wanted to live in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to the expensive Marin County a few miles across the Golden Gate Bridge.

“As the weeks turned into months, one thing became crystal clear:  No matter what I did, I couldn’t make a sale.  I used up all my savings, living off credit cards until they were nearly maxed out, finally deciding to pray for the first time in my life.  I didn’t believe in God but what the hell, I was desperate, so in tears, I cried:  “God, if you’re up there, please help me before I lose the roof over my head!”
“Nothing happened until the following day when this rather alien thought swam up in my head:

MAKE A LIST OF THE TOP 20 REALTORS, CALL THEM UP ON THE PHONE, ASK THEM OUT FOR LUNCH IN EXCHANGE FOR SHARING THEIR SECRET TO SUCCESS.

“How could I possibly spend money I didn’t have on strangers, wanting assurances, getting none.  I struggled over this until I decided to go for it and let the chips fall where they may.  As it turned out, most of the realtors on that list were eager to impart their hard-won knowledge.  What’s so strange about the whole thing is that, even though each story I heard was different from the others, they all had one extremely unlikely trait in common: They meditated every day.”

Not long after Lori began meditating, her life took off in a new direction.  She met and married my old friend who also meditated every day.  They pooled their resources, bought a hundred-acre farm in Brownsville, California and had a richly productive, fulfilling, happy and peaceful life on the farm, making some of their oldest dreams come true!

“Mary, just meditate for as long as you can, even if it’s only five minutes a day, every day, for it has an accumulative effect as that’s the key—you gotta do it every day if you want all the benefits.   I promise you that within three months, amazing things will begin to happen in your life.  Don’t think about it, JUST DO IT!”  Which is exactly what I did.

Within weeks, new friends had taken me in free of charge so that I could get away from this man; in fact, people helped me out everywhere I turned.  I also found a room to rent in this British woman’s home at a price I could afford, that was a block from the beach, that had been a three-year old dream of mine.

After my mother’s death in 1997, I moved to Asheville, North Carolina where I began my Healing Touch energy therapy practice in a charming little French cottage on a half-acre of property surrounded by tall pine trees, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  I always meditated during the sessions, after using a relaxation technique on my clients and showing them how to meditate as they lay on my table, witnessing many a miracle.

My anger towards this man faded; in fact, my daily meditation seemingly had an energetically positive effect on him because his attitude of resentment toward his family for their treatment of him changed from that to profound shame, self-loathing, repentance, and surrender to his God.  While I was still living there, he had a very dark night of the soul, claiming he “fought with a demon until it left his body.”  No wonder I had had such a hard time sitting still in that space!

THE KINGDOM

Jesus Christ said a lot of mind-boggling, out of this world, ahead of his time to the present day…..things that quite frankly sounded like scientific formulas to me.  I didn’t believe in religion but I did want to try out these “formulas,” which became a life’s work.  My most favorite of his teachings has always been “The kingdom of heaven is within; seek ye first the kingdom, and all shall be added unto ye.”  I made it my business to find out what he meant by this statement.  But it wasn’t until I had been meditating long enough that I realized he had been talking about DAILY meditation.

One of the interesting things about Jesus is that he didn’t ask anyone to write a book about him let alone study, memorize and use it to start religions that ended up causing pain, death and suffering, the Spanish Inquisition, the Dark Ages, and war after war after war; in fact the first book of the New Testament wasn’t around until circa 70 A.D.

FINALE

So, regardless of why you meditate, whether you’re a healer and want to see greater results, or you need to lower your blood pressure, escape the ceaseless chattering inside your mind, or want to experience peace, love and joy, the important thing to remember is that the more you work it, the more it works for you.  AND that daily meditation is the best way to make sure you don’t get pulled away from meditating, and the only key I know of that unlocks the door to your very own kingdom of heaven “within.”  So don’t think about it.  Just do it every day. Do it for “LIFE.”

Love all ways,

Mary Kinlen

The Work of Byron Katie. Amazing and Healing!

Synchronicity does happen. The name Byron Katie is mentioned by Teal Scott, Tobias Lars and Wayne Dyer as I was listening and watching their videos and movie (by Wayne) on You Tube.

I chose to go with the flow and now I know why they do mention her name repeatedly. She has a knack of going into the root of your concern and freeing your mind from it. It seems that most of the problems that we create in our lives stem from our mind, or more specifically, the beliefs that we attach to almost everything.

It is time to be more aware of our definitions of things, events, persons and/or places. Become aware of the belief that we put into or associate in them. As you become aware of it, you become free of it.

I really can not explain what happened when I watched this video, it seemed like a healing experience that happened. Something in me cleared out. As if there were issues in me that were let go while watching.

I hope it helps you too. Here it is:

Praying for your healing,

Carlo

Trusting and Enjoying the Process.

Hi there!

How was your Holy Week? Was it good? Were you able to re-evaluate your life and find more peace?

I really hope so. One thing that maybe God (or Higher Self, Guide, Angels, Source, however you may want to call He, She or It) was teaching me these past few weeks is "To Trust the Process."

Trusting the process is something that is a complete opposite of what I have been taught growing up. I was always (if not, most of the time) unhappy if I did not get the result that I wanted. It was always about the result, result, result. That sometimes I tend to sacrifice my relationships (hurt or harass a friend) or my health, peace of mind for that matter in order to get the result that I have set on to achieve in the first place.

As I look back, I learned that some of that caused disharmony in my life. I was so obsessed about the destination that I forgot to enjoy the journey and the process that I am taking on. Because of that, I am committed to change.

Every moment to cherish, every moment to enjoy, and thank God for everything. Thank God for the lessons that He is bringing forth on to us. Trusting in the process.

Just a thought to share. I hope I have given you a more peaceful perspective.

For your peace of mind,

Carlo

Something To Remind Us When We are Feeling Down and Useless.

Today was one of those days where my emotions are down. As I woke up, voices are speaking and nagging in my mind saying, "you need to do this, you need to do that," "again you have no accomplishments today," "you are no longer productive."

I really do not know. Maybe these are effects of our current society being compulsive on goals? Habits that were formed throughout my life? A goal-based past reality and habits wherein we tend not to be happy until a certain goal or thing is reached? Or it could be that I am really lazy and just chose to play with the little kids next door, not doing something "productive" as the world currently defines it? Sometimes the thought that I have no where to go creeps in. And the fear that I would not amount to anything also knocks in my head.

I think this is the first time in my life, that I was doing less than ever. I used to do a lot of things in work, worry about many things. Maybe the worrying became a habit that even though I am no longer doing anything, I am worried that I should do something! Weird mind that I have.

This dawned on me that this is the nature of our current society as it is. Moving on about, rushing things, doing one thing after another, cramming all things, and being stressed in the process. All these health problems rise up because of that. And maybe relationship problems too.

I think we need to get back to basics and simplify life. Be less in the world and more in touch with the spirit. I just think we have to start that process, that journey. It could not be done in an instant, but it is a journey worth taking.

I went out of our garage. After I fed the dogs with their dinner, I looked above at the moon. I noticed that it does look brighter than when I was still a young boy. I looked at it, looked at the stars, wondering about all this existence. I was also feeling the emotions inside of me as they are happening. As I also wanted to free them.

And as I got back in, I clicked on this video by Bashar on my computer. And it led me to a message that pulled me up to lighter state:

After hearing this, it just felt better and a little lighter. Thank God. And in one of my habits, I always want my challenging moments produce something positive for myself and for others. I always want to "alchemize" negative energies into positive ones for all. And because of that I figured out that there may be someone out there that is also undergoing these kinds of things (I know a lot do, from time to time). And so I created this post. I hope that this would be of help.

Please remember, that you are not alone. We are a big family, loving and supporting each other, though maybe not consciously as always, but I believe through our unconscious intentions such as coming from the love that emanates in our hearts. The energy coming from our hearts is truly amazing.

I love you always,

Carlo

Hear What You Need To Hear. Learn What You Need To Learn. An Interesting Definition of Abundance. Introducing, Bashar.

I got the chance to know about Bashar while listening to the radio program where Tobias Lars got in as a guest. For an introduction to personal awakening coach Tobias Lars, here is my past post of him. Click this LINK.

The seminars of Bashar (channeled by Darryl Anka) are music to my ears. A soothing breeze to my sometimes (hmm, maybe most of the time instead, at these "transitioning years") troubled and confused soul. And what is amazing is that the lessons come from him at the exact moment that I need it.

Not before. Not after. But at the exact moment that I needed it.

Bashar brings a calm perspective on how to approach the different aspects of life. Topics like abundance, spiritual healing, emotional healing, patience, and other relevant issues that trouble humanity nowadays. He shows you a clear path on how tread life as it is. And he tells us to enjoy! To act in our highest excitement in every moment. He also gives tools through advice and through music on how to heal our spiritual and emotional wounds.

He has a very liberating definition of abundance and he encourages us to adapt to it. Since majority of humanity nowadays are troubled by this aspect with the status of the current "economy".

Here it is:

Here are other videos to further clarify the point:

Enjoying the process as it happens, And the reason why you have "less" right now:

He has lots of videos in You Tube and you can pick which you resonate to. The being is very wise.

He lights up something in you after hearing him speak.

Good Day To You!

Looking Within Yourself. The Patch Parables from Spirit Science.

Hey there! If you have been watching the Spirit Science videos that I have introduced before, Link of that post, below:

If you are, then you may be familiar with the cartoon character named "Patch". Well I have found gems of wisdom inside the Spirit Science You Tube channel like these parables that I'm going to share with you.

This first video typically illustrates the kind of world that we have lived in the past. That it is all about materialism, ego, tendencies of putting material things above relationships, which is mostly and probably the cause of the wars happening or that happened in our world.

Well the good thing coming out of those is that we are now able to know what kind of world we do not want. And MORE importantly, what kind of world we would want to build starting right now.

If those wars caused these calamities, heartaches, broken families, etc. then would you want to continue the cycle?

Or maybe let us interpret it in a smaller scale and this is common here in the Philippines: if a certain dispute over a property causes your relationships with your family members be broken and turn ugly, then would you want to live in a situation like that?

And in a much "smaller" scale, a quarrel between your friend over lent money that was never paid. Turning into exchanges of harsh words or even taking it onto the courts.

Let us look within ourselves. And then decide what kind of world we want to live in.

Continually seek wisdom and not let the ego take over. The wisdom may not come in the form of these cartoons. The wisdom may come from a friend or from your parents. Or the wisdom could come in prayer, in meditation.

Love is the new currency. It is the new way of exchange.

Appreciating you always,

Carlo

A Fresh Perspective. The Teachings of a Spiritual Catalyst Named Teal Scott.

Here is another teacher which helped me understand the different aspects of our life. In the pursuit of knowing how to feel good every time, sometimes I get emotional "tantrums" of feeling lost and wanting to know something. Upon hearing her somehow I get an answer. I get another piece of the puzzle.

I have learned about her from the Spirit Science videos that I wrote about in this entry: Is there Such Thing as a ''Science'' for Spiritual Topics?

I think I am an information addict. I seem to continuously search for answers from the questions that my heart brings (almost everyday). After listening to her, you kind of have a deeper understanding of that specific area and gain an insight not heard before. From which you can apply immediately and see the results at your perspective.

You will understand what I mean from those last few statements by watching her videos.

I was surprised by how young she is and the wisdom she has at that age. And she is beautiful. She is a fresh sight to behold. A total healing for the soul.

She has lots of videos in You Tube worth watching. Pick one that resonates with you each time.

In one of her videos, introducing, Teal Scott

There you go, I hope I have given you another doorway to aid in the healing of your soul and another step in your spiritual journey.

See you on the next door,

Carlo

And One Thing Led to Another... Learning from Tobias Lars

And so.. after finishing the videos from the Spirit Science series. Here is my blog post about it:

I was having the impression that this dude Jordan that made the Spirit Science videos had researched extensively regarding topics about spiritual stuff.

Here is his channel, he lives by his passion, travelling the world and meeting interesting people:

And so, coming back to his Spirit Science channel, I browsed his recommended videos and saw an interesting teacher. One who recommends facing all the negative stuff hidden in ourselves, feeling them and finally freeing it all. Because the negative stuff is "heavy" releasing it enables you to feel "lighter"

Face it. Feel it. Free it.

He is Tobias Lars. One thing that resonated with me is that he is as real as it gets. He is like us. He also has his shares of "setbacks" in life just like the rest of us. I have learned a lot from him especially in his radio guesting in Soul Journeys Radio with the bubbly host Christie Aphrodite.

If you are someone who is tired of all the negativity. Or you are hurt in some way. And you want to be freed of it. You can check out Tobias Lars. He can be of help. You can search his name in You Tube and click on his videos which feel good to you.

Here is one of them:

Living here on earth (or should I say, the physical dimension..) is a great experience. We should lighten up! and enjoy the ride, along with its ups and downs.

Remember that what happens outside is only a reflection of what is inside you. If you don't like the outside, step back, reflect a while and ask, "Maybe there is something inside me that is causing this. Maybe there is something inside of me (be it thoughts, beliefs, or feelings) that I need to change.." After pointing it out, by the way, remember this is a process, it may take a while before you can pinpoint it fully. Pinpointing it out brings awareness to it. And once you are aware of it, you now have the power to change it.

Changing the inside is also a process. It does not mean that if you do one thing changing your internal that it immediately manifests on the outside. It will also take a certain amount of time (some are fast, some are slow, different lag times in many different cases). The time delay is a characteristic of this physical dimension that we are currently in.

More to come in succeeding posts!

Recognizing the Light in You,

Carlo

Is there Such Thing as a ''Science'' for Spiritual Topics?

Some things do happen in an unexpected way and in beautiful synchronicity.

It was early November last year (2012), at that time I was having a stressful week from my sales work. I was rushing to reach my target quota and maybe because of that I was experiencing insomnia. But then after my mind could not take it, finally I decided just to take a break and have a breather. To take my mind off from work.

While taking my break, a thought crossed my mind, "This violent rushing of our society, of working, getting from place to place, being busy as we call it, getting all stressed out, hurrying up to our deaths, what is this all for?"

"Is this all worth it?"

This made me reminisce way back in the year 2009 where after an emotional breakdown, I asked the questions, "What am I really here for?," "What is the truth?" Well these questions led me to exploring the Bible at that time.

Going back to 2012, I was then browsing You Tube that day, I found another perspective of things which resonated with me. I am an information freak, I like to learn new things up to its details as long as it felt good with me exploring it. I investigate it and see if it felt right or it has a sense of truth in it.

There I saw the Spirit Science video series. It was one of the suggested videos at the side while you are looking at the current video. I could not remember what was I watching at that time which led me to clicking the Spirit Science series. It had a catchy appeal since it was animated and in cartoons.

Here is the first video of the series:

And if you want to see the rest of the series, the page of the playlist, click HERE

The series is really interesting and it has a certain truth and depth to it. It is also good that it is presented in a light and enjoyable manner. It is then up to you to believe or not. Just see if any of the videos also resonate with something inside of you.

Enjoy!

My Realization of the Existence of Ego

Or the Egoic mind, as some may call it.

The book, A New Earth, by Eckhart Tolle opened this to me.

The book fell literally on my lap as my mother, an Oprah fan, bought this as one of Oprah's book club listings. I saw it on her bag and was intrigued. Upon seeing it, I said out loud to her, "This book is good!" which seems weird since I have not yet known or heard about Eckhart Tolle before.

You know that weird intuition wherein you feel something good about something you've only seen for the first time? Well I got that feeling upon seeing and holding this book. It had a certain energy in it.

One of the topics he discussed in his book is the existence of the ego.

From my understanding in reading this, the ego is an entity inside us that seeks excessively more than what you need, be it prestige or possessions, defends and builds-up "self-image", one that is highly attached to worldly stuff and would choose those stuff over true relationships and unconditional love. The ego loves the world and lets you make it your "god". Eckhart Tolle tells us that when we are aware of the ego in us and be a witnessing consciousness behind it, we prevent it to take over our lives and our decisions. The technique is to catch it doing its thing before it overtakes you as a person and let you do unnecessary things, harm others and harm yourself.

He also said that the human ego is one of the main causes of wars and conflicts that plagued humanity in the past centuries. But the ego is not to be judged or be made into an enemy. It is to be accepted as a part of the journey. It has its role and its place in our evolution as a specie.

Eckhart Tolle's teachings resonated well with something inside of me. It is as if he just reminded me of many things that I used to know before but had forgotten.

Aside from his books, there are lots of videos over the internet about Eckhart Tolle. And the discussion regarding the awareness of the ego is just one of his teachings. Here is one of them:

To be enlightened, is to lighten up! When? NOW. =)

Have a great week!

Do you also have these questions?

This past year until at present time I have been encountering new knowledge about spirituality that I haven't known before. As far as spirituality is concerned I was raised Catholic and the only knowledge that I have consciously known since childhood was coming from the Holy Bible. Do hear that I have not yet finished reading the Bible. Thankfully enough the central foundation of my search still revolves upon the teachings from the said book and expanding around it.

Many things happened to me in this lifetime that made me confused. Leading me to ask things like: What is really the purpose of my life? Or this life, what is the purpose of living it for us humans? Who am I really? What am I really supposed to do here? Is it only about accumulating riches and making my own family, owning a house, a car? And then passing them on to my heirs when I die?

Is there something else deeper that we are destined to do or BE?

My previous knowledge has just expanded. I think that I more of feel the teachings through actual experiences rather than just knowing the teachings with my mind.

Right now it was more felt. Many teachings before made sense. And it felt great with every realization.

I'll be sharing to you in the succeeding posts what I have been watching or reading so far that made me reach  a peaceful state (not consistently though, I'm still learning) during times of worry, fear and anxiety.

Please let me know if this struck a chord in you. I'll be more than happy to interact. =)

God bless you! Namaste!

An Extra-Ordinary Experience. Enveloped by Light. Intense Shaking. And Pulling.

This experience led me to creating this.

- February 23, 2013, around 4:00 am to 6:00 am, Philippine time (same as Hong Kong +8)

....I woke up suddenly from my bed after sleeping for about an hour or two. It was still dark. I realized that it was still dawn. I remember doing my inner body awareness habit and my deep breathing prior to that sleep to relax myself. As I lie awake, a thought crossed my mind on how should I continue pursuing the abundance (in terms of money, career and business) that I want in my life. I was used to this train of thought every now and then during these times. Which mostly led me to worry and be anxious since I have been doing a lot of things and pursuing different endeavors with the goal of being rich (in the world's definition) but to no avail I have not been able to do so, so far.

Then I said to myself, "Maybe I should try that meditative technique on Quantum jumping that I have watched yesterday." According to the speaker, this concept came from one of the chapters of Napoleon Hill's book, Think and Grow Rich. (As of this writing, my next activity would be to find where in the book did the author write about that). As said in that Quantum jumping video, to do it, you have to visualize yourself in a boardroom (a meeting room with a long table and executive chairs). And you are to sit in front of the people you want to ask advice to, and then, ask them your question.

Lying in my bed, I said to myself, "Hmm, let me try this, if it's about getting prosperity I want to know, let me ask one of my favorite authors, the entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki. I'll imagine being with him in the boardroom."

And so while I am visualizing Mr. Kiyosaki in front of me, completing his physical image sitting and facing me, suddenly I was being enveloped by a bright white light. And while that was happening, I felt an intense shaking in my whole body. At this time I am also feeling that something or some force is pulling me from behind.

I was surprised with all this happening to me. I was even more surprised that I was completely aware and "awake" at that moment. What I mean by that is that I was able to think during those times. It was like a state of half-awake and half-asleep. Because during the appearance of the light and during the shaking, I am hearing myself saying mentally that "Maybe this is what those articles are saying about OBE or Out-of-Body Experiences, that a shaking will happen."

When the "pulling" continued, I felt that the movement was so far that I resisted and started to panic. I was in a state of shock but at the same time I was in awe of that heightened feeling. "Was that the feeling of your spirit being separated from your physical body prior to an OBE?" I asked myself. As I panicked, the vibration ceased, and finally I opened my eyes. I took a pause and then prayed to God and Jesus. And for the rest of the morning I was asking them incessantly what just happened earlier. I was smiling and confused while asking that though, hahaha.

It is not easy to explain in words. It was a moment that produced mixed emotions. It was panic and scary but at the same time it had a refreshing feel. It could be a nervous system reaction. I am really not sure. It is what it is.

I haven't had an experience like that before, and it led me to start this account on spirituality. Maybe to search others who had also a similar experience. To meet like-minded, or to put it, like-frequency-ed people.

Till Next Time,

Carlo
